For a lot of us, the boundaries of wearing a full suits has become more flexible. It doesn't have to be full black suits, and no one wants to look exactly like the nerd sitting right next to you. Therefore, here's some of the inspirations we found that will spice up your charm in this summer. 

First off, consider suit separates. Mix and match colors has become very common and easy to shop. Keep your pants color subtle and you can throw on a more 'summer-ish' color blazer. Yes, we mean a light color! Because every individual piece is office appropriate, it never strikes an awkward 'too trendy' vibe to your colleague. 

But yes! You look different. By different, I mean BETTER. The difference between charmer and office slave.

Casual smart style has been in the market for years, you have seen celebrity dressing similar styles. Here is the magic, your suits has to fit you well, then pair those killers with a crewneck shirt or sweater. (Center)

Mix and match patterns is also a way to show others you have a taste and know how to style. Keep your pieces in the same color tones and leave the texture on the jacket. (Right)

31. Stay inside the lines: Cords is as comfy as jeans and more chill than trousers.

Style 4 Gents: Always explore your options

32. Leather low top sneaker, no busted running shoes.

Style 4 Gents: When in doubt, always black shoes, no sneakers. Leather material is the closest level to your regular dress shoes. Keep it plain. 

33. Just because your co-worker is wearing a nice suit doesn't mean he has a job interview. 

Style 4 Gents: Although he is likely to get hired if he knows how to dress it right on the daily basis. 

34. The all purpose tie knot - The four in hand

Style 4 Gents: I was raised to tie the double but sure this will work. 

35. 63% of men with significant others let their better halves buy their work clothes for them. At least have an opinion. 

Style 4 Gents: Generally consensus is, your style is bad. You don't care about it until someone step in your life. However, the modern society says, it is still sweet to let the person decide for you. But you should not be clueless. Your style defines yourself, so when you dress stupid, blame yourself.

36. Work bags don't have shoulder strap. Leather brief, leather and canvas tote, or even a zip-folio.

Style 4 Gents: Sure it will take a long while before men can feel comfortable carrying a zip-folio walking on the street. There are options for people with different needs. You can still carry a messenger and not look like a high school student. The key? The material. Pick the grown up material like leather.

37. Dress like a boss. Choose wisely from tv inspirations.

38. Beware of bosses wearing jeans. He is always your boss, not your pal.

After interviewing 1000 gents, GQ comes up this 40 style rules for the gents working in the office. Let's take a closer look on every single one, let us know your thoughts by commenting down below. 

21. The polo is your secret weapon: Keep the color solid and dark, avoid tacky emblems and stick with cottons.

Style 4 Gents: Best for causal Friday and unfortunate weekend workload. Just keep it simple. 

22. You can actually talk style in the office: To test if another gent is interested in the topic, initiate the conversations by complimenting the shirt or shoes the other person is wearing. Follow the clues if the person opens up his shopping experience or shifts the subject. 

Style 4 Gents: While bros have different style and interest, your common topic should be more than sports, weather and work. 

23. Tuck in your shirt

Style 4 Gents: Always when you are working in a business setting. Unless you are pulling a street/contemporary style, which is not applicable for most offices.

27. Layer up with Cardigan

Style 4 Gents: Definitely an alternative to tone down the three piece suits. From color to pattern to texture, there are so much you can play around. The more complicated the pattern, the more plain and solid color of the suit you should wear. 

28. Tee off. At least something with a collar. 

Style 4 Gents: Save the tee for sports/gym/park/bbq day. 

29. Carry on. Briefcase should be like your clothes. Slim.

Style 4 Gents: A slim briefcase will keep your carry on item to the minimum. If there are more to carry, consider a backpack and messenger. 

30. Trim down. For your beard, keep it tight or cut it off. 

Style 4 Gents: Unfortunately you can only get away by committing the following roles. a) Santa Claus b) The cast of The Duck Dynasty c) Retired old man d) Hollywood stars.

GQ magazine released the 40 rules of thumb for the guys (based on an interview of 1000 gents) dressing up at the office. We are going to break down each rule and tackle every single one. Let us know your thoughts and comment below. 

11. Loosen tie? Don't do it!

Style 4 Gents: Either tie on or tie off. You wanna be that guy who acts like you don't care? Leave it at the sports bar.

12. You have a responsibility to represent the company through your style. You're the business card in that moment. 

Style 4 Gents: It's your name on the business card. No reason you will do something degrading yourself. 

13. Know what your dress shirt is saying. 

Point: You've had your job since 2011 and this shirt since 1994.

Button Down: You're putting that liberal-arts degree to good use.

Semispread: You're two years ahead on your five-year career plan.

Cutaway spread: Your last gig was as an usher at the royal wedding.

Style 4 Gents: Basically GQ is saying higher the collar, better the style. We have not found the statistically relevance, but we do want to point out the narrower the space between the collar point, the more up tight you appear to be. 

14. 36% of guys said their favorite suit color is black

Style 4 Gents: You should have at least 1 to 2 black suits. Afterwards, go for different shades of gray suits.

15. Mix-and-Don't Match: Play with shirt and tie patterns. Make sure scales are different. 

Style 4 Gents: For starter, keep either shirt or tie in plain and trade the other with patterns. Then you can play mix-and-match on different medium. Practice makes perfect. Tips? Keep it in the similar color tone.

16. Matte it down: Keep belt buckle small

17. Catch a bad break: No more puddling pants

Style 4 Gents: It's only acceptable at skiing outfits.

18. Go shrink yourself: No oversized shirt

Style 4 Gents: One way I determine if the shirt is fit to the body is by looking at the buttons after you try on the shirt. When it seems like they are stretching a lot and seemingly popping out, then it's too tight and you need to size it up. If you notice the fabric is sagging and there's no trace of your body shape. Then you need to size it down or look for a better fit. Classic fit or slim fit is really about bringing the best side of your body shape, not the mis-conceptional gay side. 

19. 'Watch' this: Work proper timepiece means a leather strap and simple face

Style 4 Gents: We believe it's appropriate regardless it's metal strap or leather strap. Just save the plastic at sports day. 

20. Punch Up Your Kicks: Suede bucks and colorful socks were made for business causal. 

Style 4 Gents: Suede needs extra care because the material looks terrible and dirty when it touches water. But feel free to pair some colorful socks with your dress shoes. It's trendy, playful and office appropriate.
