042 - Aaron Paul

Jesse, the favorite character from the legendary show the 'Breaking Bad' was played by the actor Aaron Paul. In his latest photo shoot, Paul posed as the modern gentleman in the factory setting background. The black suit jacket, white v-neck tee and the black leather pants, it's a causal smart style with an attitude. The second shot was more of a modern office attire - wool coat, dress shirt and pants with the slick black shoes. You then realize... even when he wears everything like all we do everyday, little of him shows the vibe of a person who works in the office. Through his eyes, there seems to be another world evolving inside his much more that we won't be figuring out.

At the end, the final question is.. which Aaron do you like the most? The one from the Breaking Bad (top), the modern bad boy (below) or the fashionable gent (second below)?

040 - Floral Collections

Suit by Versace. Shirt by Prada.

I am sure this post could potentially stir some controversial conversations among our gents circle. Floral prints used to be culturally regarded as feminine. Men buy flowers to their date, girlfriend and wife. It's something women in particular fond of: the vibrant colors, the smell, and it's unexplained message behind each individual type (and none of us could ever remember). Having said that, this collection of floral prints are created by some of the biggest name in the industry, it might be hard to imagine that you would trade your solid, stripes and plaids with these. My second thought is if you can buy a Hawaiian print shirt, why not?

Here's how to deal with any seemingly busy prints and patterns, you keep it as a focus and silence the rest of the outfits. Ride the print with your masculinity. The Prada shirt above is definitely my favorite. The floral is designed with the use of two colors, red and black, which happens to be one of the best combinations ever. Pair it with a solid suit and you are ready for a gent's night out.

Prada gives floral a big attention in the Spring Summer 2014 season. It's everywhere on the runway! The prints sit so well with the blazer and bomber jacket that gives me a big urge to get my hands on them.

Gucci also rides the heating trend with a lot of florals in their collections. The results is a well designed contemporary outfit that gives a solid statement. After seeing the whole collection, which one is your favorite? Do you own or will you attempt to purchase?

039 - Denim Style
Everyone owns some pairs of jeans, but not many dare to wear denim shirt and jeans together. Looking back in history, Elvis in 1964 who gave in to the nature of a fabric that begs to be rolled, cuffed and worn-in. The trend has neither fade nor forgotten. Today, from Kanye to David Beckham wears denim in a sophisticated way that carries the personal style to a whole new level. With more choices of shades, cut, and wash, denim continues its king of throne status in the menswear market. Therefore, don't hesitated to wear top down denim style. The key is to keep the colors separated so no one mistakes you wearing a jumpsuit.
